Circle of Security
At times all parents feel lost or without a clue about what our child might need from us.
Imagine what it might feel like if you were able to make sense of what your child was really asking from you.
The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened.
An 8 session programme for parents of 0-5-year-olds which focuses on how parent/child relationships can be strengthened and teaches parents to understand and respond to the child’s needs underlying the behaviour improving both the behaviour and the relationship. It also emphasises the importance for parents in maintaining a balance between being “wise and kind” – able to follow the child’s needs wherever possible, and being “bigger and stronger” than the child – able to take charge when necessary.
